Do you qualify for CDL driver training?

You must:

  • Be 18 years or older (required by the Department of Transportation)
  • Hold a current valid driver’s license for the state in which you reside
  • Have an employer-acceptable motor vehicle report for the past 3 years
  • Be able to pass a Department of Transportation physical examination and drug screen for commercial drivers
  • Be a resident of Washington, Idaho or Oregon

Application Process

  • Initial interview, in person or by phone, to discuss driving career choices and employment qualifications, such as motor vehicle report, criminal background, work history and stability, and health issues.
  • Tuition payment options discussed.
  • DTS enrollment application filled out.
  • Motor Vehicle Report obtained and reviewed
  • Employer applications submitted
  • Conditional pre-hire letters received from employers
  • D.O.T. Physical and drug screen taken
  • School Acceptance
